The Call
The Call didn’t come last night but rather this morning. Which was a bit disappointing but we would rather have fresh and rested staff working on Aria. She is in surgery right now getting her new wiggle. We are praying that it can go back in the same spot. We will see soon enough.
We have so had enough of hospital. It is becoming a real chore. Hamish has done so amazingly well doing ALL the nights and then going to work. Seriously it is hard work. I can’t wait until Asher gets bigger and we can share the nights.
So we are desperate to get home. Not sure when though. Aria is on 3 antibiotics and we still haven’t sorted this blood sugar issue. Consultant rounds today so I will be sure to tell them we want to go home, not that they don’t already know anyway.
Thanks for checking in on us and for all the support.
BREAKING NEWS: Aria has a brand new wiggle. Our new favourite surgeon Mr Nightingale, was able to use the same vein as the previous one which is great news. He also gave her a slightly bigger more resilient one to try and guard against incidents in future. Thanks again for the prayer!!

Hey guys,
Awesome news about the Wiggle!! Hoping you can get home soon. I’m fighting off the flu so will keep my bugs to myself – but I am so thinking of you!!

We’re thinking of you and want you to get home soon too. We have just been released and will wait and see what happens with our missy too. Great news about getting her line back in the same place – such a relief.

That’s awesome that she could get a new CVC in the same vein and that it’s a new line
Still hoping they can figure out the infection thing and the BSL’s and above all that you get to go home soon!!

Great to hear that Aria has a new wiggle and that she had your favourite surgeon to do the business. Praying for you all that you get to go home soon and get back to ‘normal’.
Love and hugs,
