“Ashie” “Broke” “Arm”

This is how Aria is describing Asher currently, which is of course the truth

Yesterday afternoon Asher took a tumble off the couch and put his arms out to break his fall and now has a ‘buckle fracture’ in his wrist 🙁

Oh course I feel really stink about it cause we should of been watching him.  Hamish and I were sitting on the floor by the couch and Asher was crawling around on it.  Unfortunately we relaxed a bit and focused on something else.  Asher had appeared to master getting on and off the couch but decided to go face forward.

Anyway hopefully it will only be on for 2 weeks, best case, worst case 4 weeks.  Sigh.   Thanks to Daddy who spent 4 hours in emergency and has taken him back just now.  You’re a star!

I had to have a giggle .. because it just doesn’t seem fair! He is being a true boy believe me, Jake got up to all sorts of mischief – girls can be much more sedate! I’m so sorry for you guys and poor Ashie, but at least Aria will see the funny side of someone else needing the hospital care.

Hehe, at least you noticed. Noah’s broken collarbone went unnoticed for nearly three weeks 🙂 Oops.

Poor Ashie!!! Dontcha feel bad about it, accidents happen despite the best care and attention – its a kid thing! Good luck with the cast over the next few weeks, they are horrid to keep clean and dry and non smelly!!!
And just to prove i am right about the accidents my son has just come in shouting that he twisted his ankle ‘walking’!! More likely he fell trying to climb the worlds tallest tree!!!:) Have a lovely week!

Wow, sorry to hear of your experiences during the past few days/weeks. We have just come home from a week camping the Bay of Islands. It must be the time of year to break things, as my Dad-in-law broke his leg during our camping stint while on a long hike (with 6 of his grandchildren) and had to be airlifted out to Whangarei hospital for surgery. He is home now, a cast and pins in his leg notwithstanding!
    Love to you all! xxxx
