Just want you to know I am here through Jennifer McGuire's Cards for Kids program. I am humbled by the incredible strength you guys have. Dear little Aria, I will pray for her. I posted the badge on my blog, it doesn't get a lot of traffic, but it may help a little. God bless you all.

Hi. We haven't met but my daughter, Kristabelle, is also a transplant patient at UNMC. I just wanted to let you know that the children's museum does a carefree kids night a few times a year. They are closed all day cleaning from top to bottom. Then in the evening they open it up to families with immunosuppressed kids and their siblings for free. It is a great way to go enjoy the place with no crowd and no worry about germs. Praying for Aria!

We never made it to the Children's Museum while we were there in Omaha; we'll definitely have to check it out when we come in July for the transplant reunion (hoping we'll make it!).

When we were at UNMC, the Lied check-in desk had day passes for families at the hospital to go to the zoo for free. They may have other things, too, but the zoo seemed like a safe place to take Anthony in his stroller (and, he was only 4 months old...). Really, it was more so that my mom and I wouldn't lose our sanity!

Always checking in on you, and always sending my prayers.

Praise God for improvement in Aria's stats and that you were able to have some one on one time with your son. Sounds like a fun place,
Judy.
