Pleased
Really pleased to report that Aria is doing much better today. Â For the first time in ages she doesn’t have big dark circles under her eyes! Â She is currently and oddly sitting at 100% on .5L of O2! Â This is really good. Â She is resting back and seems comfortable. Â Had a couple of naps today and was able to settle well. Â We went for a walk and bike ride around PICU and she played with her remote control car. Â She laughed and giggled and was spunkier than I have seen her for awhile!
We have tried a couple of new treatments to thin and shift the secretions in her lungs and I think that it has helped. Â To be honest I am not sure what the problem is. Â Could be her narrowed airway or could be the dodgy lungs or most likely both. Â So ready for winter to be over, all this drama started with winter colds.
Unfortunately her kidneys are not happy right now and she is a bit dry. Â Have increased her fluid but hoping she is able to pee it out and it doesn’t build up. Â Her legs are looking a bit puffy today.

Ah…good to hear a bit of good news. Such a delicate balance is needed. Hope and pray that the problem with the kidneys resolves itself soon. Love and prayers always.

really happy to hear Aria is up and at em! So great she has managed to rest and get back toher normal cheeky self. Must be a huge relief. I still dread winter for our kids – it just seems to hit them harder but it does improve as the prograf is lowered, never perfect tho but hey what is!
