Feeling positive - Aria MacDonald

Feeling positive

The feeling we are taking today from rounds is positive.  There was no particular good news to be heard except they aren’t bothering with the liver biopsy, at least not today.  They feel it is a combination of drug reactions and general sickness so it will improve in time.  The ultrasound was perfect so that is good.

They are switching a few meds around.  The results from Aria’s skin biopsy came back, this time it is a med reaction causing her peeling skin still!  So we have stopped prograf, her anti rejection med.  This is a big call but it has been mentioned before that it could be causing her headaches (which were back last night-boo) and skin issues.  So they are starting something difference, same family of drug though.  One of the side effects is hair growth!  Perfect!  She needs some help in that department.

There was more talk of home today but her blood pressure is still pretty high and needs some management.

We have a difficult situation here is our apartment which we would appreciate prayer for.  Nothing to do with us rather a difficult tenant which nearly had me calling the cops last night, thankfully someone else did.  Anyway said tenant approached me today, accusingly, and I feel a little shaken.  I don’t have any energy for extra stresses!

Anyway please pray for Aria’s bone marrow and liver!  God hears :)

The Psalm I read this morning – “I love the lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live….Gracious is the Lord and righteous; yes our God is merciful. The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. Return to your rest, O my soul, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.” Ps. 116
may you continue to know His leading and guiding and a quiet trust in Him. Our love and ongoing partnership in this battle.

Prayers as always for Aria and another helping for the situation with the difficult tenant.Sometimes a little hard to hold onto the belief that the burden is made for the back. May this resolve itself and quickly without it causing any more stress and unpleasantness for you.

Sorry to hear of your rotton neighbour – not what you need right now huh! Nanna Christine will be there soon to sort them out for you I guess! What a great update!

  6. Cousins Kathleen & Anita says:

We find this very helpful: “Jesus, look through my eyes at this difficult neighbour; may he/she see you looking at her. When I speak to her, may it be you speaking. I’ll just keep quiet and let you do the talking. When she/he meets me, may it not be me, because I can’t cope with him/her. May he/she meet you Lord. Hide me in you. Cover me with your blood. (This is powerful! It works!)

Yes God does indeed hear. I often struggle to believe it myself but I know deep down that he does and we can be thankfully that in all we go through he knows and cares and will answer in his perfect time.

  8. Joyce says:

Just praying the answers keep coming and that your entire situation at home can be settled. May the Lord intervine with this neighbor. May Aria continue to feel better and that you all get some good rest.

  9. Heidi says:

Yes, we’ve got enough battles without such neighbors. We shall command the peace of Jesus over these people. Deut.33:25-27
“The bolts of our gates will be iron and bronze, and our strength will equal our days. There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help us and on the clouds in his majesty. The eternal God is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out our enemy before us, saying,’Destroy him’.
You are not alone dear Anita and Hamish. Love and blessings!
