Cheryl says:Well done Anita and Hamish and Aria. You are all remarkable people and I take my hat off to you for the way you have coped. My daughter was sick for a year but that PALES in comparison to your ordeal however I have the smallest inkling of what you’ve had to deal with so I think you’re amazing incredible parents. I’m about to make a donation and I hope that the Close Up programme has encouraged LOADS of support and donations. Good luck to you all, xx

Jess says:I’m so glad beautiful little Aria’s story has been told to New Zealand, so we can aid you in your quest to raise the much needed money for her operation. I will be praying for your gorgeous little girl xxx

Angela says:I agree with all those people above and hope that someone gives generoulsy from their huge Lotto win and that it just doens’t get wasted away!!
Also I had previously emailed thru on the contact page (as I had seen your plight a few weeks back) that I know of an opportuntity that can earn you an income both here and in USA. It reallys needs to be seen – I am positive this can help you guys.
Seriously this is not just some “scheme” to take advantage of your situation. We have two boys and I can only but imagine what you are going thru, but I can absolutely guarantee to you that we would never take a situation like yours and profit from it. Like I say I really do believe this can help you.
As i’ve had to leave our email address you can reply to us on that and we can help you from there.
Lots of love and hugs & kisses to Aria.
Best Wishes
xxxxxx

Marianne says:Mark – can’t you organise a very public appeal for this dear wee girl? All it would take is for 50% of New Zealanders to give a mere $1.00 each and 2 million would ge gathered in no time. Aria and her family need the help of fellow New Zealanders and she could so easily get the care she needs and have the opportunity to lead a full life. I will be donating $10.00 immediately.
Good luck to Aria and her family. Marianne

Kate says:What a special little girl you have. My son is 16 and lived on TPN his whole life, we have had many ups and downs. Tpn, vomitng bile and many trips to hospital have become part of his life. We have decided early on to give him the best life we can. When we take him to hospital we never know if we will bring him home, but we have a very happy boy who enjoys life. It may not be normal but it is all he knows. He has had girlfriends, is a St John Cadet and hopes to be a nurse. We will be thinking of you, stay strong. You are doing a great job. GOOD LUCK . Shelley says:I have just made a contribution to your gorgeous Aria’s Fund. I know that one small donation will not fund your whole trip but hopefully if everyone can give a little, in the long run it will make a big difference. Im sure Aria will have a lovely life filled to the brim with people who love and support her.

Many people have mentioned your story to me, I have only recently viewed the tv one web site. Thank you for sharing your story with N.Z. We too have a son with Hirschsprungs disease he is 3 yrs old, so understand the difficulties & aspects of your journey. I wish you all the very best in raising funds for Aria’s operation. You really are fantastic parents, I hope America treats you well.
