Pinky Pie
Pinky Pie is the name of Aria’s My Little Pony that she got for christmas from her Aunty Megan and Uncle Bruce. It is super cute, it comes with a little babies bottle which you can fed it and it makes sucking noises. It talks and says things like ‘I love you mummy’ and ‘Pinky Pie hungry’ Aria loves to push her foot and make her talk. She cradles the pony in her arm and feeds her with the bottle. Very cute. I am glad Aria enjoys this pretend play considering her understanding of using a bottle is fairly limited.
So I said to Hamish at the beginning of the week that I would eat my hat if we weren’t in starship by the end of the week. So Friday is here and I might be dining on hat tonight!! Yay still I have doubts that we will make it to clinic on Tuesday. Aria asked to go to bed at 10 am this morning, very strange.Â
Still we have a big weekend planned. Hamish has four days off yay, Aria likes having Daddy home and so do I. The 29th is a big day, Aria’s kidney ultrasound, clinic and Ashers 6 weeks shots. Busy day 🙂

Natalie says:hi Anita I’m Cody Walsh’s Mother – Cody was born with very rare condition called malrotation volvulus -the bowel sits incorrectly in the body and is not anchored -Cody is nearly 17 – in his condition it is usually diagnosed not long after birth but his reared its ugly head last september – he suffered a midgut volvulus subsequentally causing most of the small bowel to necrotize and about a foot of his large bowel – he now requires tpn and is going to require a small bowel and liver transplant in the future – I think Nyle has been emailing you and Matisse’s Mother – I hear that Aria and Matisse are in hospital at present as is Cody with hickman line infections – bloody hell weird coincedence i must say!!! anyway I hope you guys are ok and that the wee one is beating it – Cody’s had a couple of scary days with attacks of rigors and a very high temp of 41,7 yesterday morning – he wil have a new hickman line put in monday as one of the lumens split a month ago when it became blocked and the district nurse tried to unblock it and it kind of popped – I couldn’t sleep so thought I;d borrow his puter and touch base. I wish you all well and hope Aria recovers quickly!
