Hooray it’s a holiday! - Aria MacDonald

Hooray it’s a holiday!

Or at least it was a holiday!  We just got back from 4 days away.  Actually ‘away’ was Grey Lynn but it felt like paradise that’s for sure!  We had a great time and feel relaxed and refreshed.

Guess what?  Asher is walking now too!  He started taking steps over the weekend and is getting further each time.  Except Asher is an excited wee man most of the time and laughs so much he falls over!!  Aria is very encouraging of Ashers ‘no hands walking’ and gives him big claps!!

Aria is starting to string lots of words together.  Her faves are “Aria stay up please” and “Aria walk please”.  It is quite cute although it doesn’t always mean she gets what she wants!  But still it is nice to hear her little voice.  Asher is also starting to talk, his words being mum, NO! and bye.  Cute.

That is the most wonderful, magic news about Aria and Asher walking and talking and Aria encouraging Asher. That is just so wonderful to read that sort of good stuff! What brilliant children!

Boy – Anita hope you have your running shoes on! Two walking at once WOW, just as well you are superwomen. Its great to see Aria can be big sister and encourage her little brother.

That is so cool! It’s neat that they can be walking together and laughing so much. Yup, definitely better get those running shoes on – it’s all going to speed up now that’s for sure!
Glad to hear you had some time to getaway too. A change is definitely as good as a holiday. xxx

One of the things I love most about being a mum is watching my two kids interact, like you do with Aria and Asher. At the moment Jake is loudly describing every move he makes on his playstation lego game to Lara, I can hear him keep saying Lara are you listening, did you see that. Not sure if she’s awake though!
