Prayers for Departure
Aria’s still very much the same, still sore, still putting on weight, still well enough to travel… for the moment.
It was nice that today the Dr’s took a bit of action in the search for causes/solutions to the mysterious weight gain.
We wait with eager anticipation for tomorrows weight.
Please pray that Aria’s health would not be an obstacle to departure, and can you also pray that paperwork would also be sorted in time. There is some delay in getting contracts/payments sorted, this is another thing that may delay a Monday departure.
In other news, filming went pretty well. It appears Aria doesn’t hold any ambitions towards being in front of the camera, but there were a few nice moments that they managed to capture with her.
We are having a going away Thankgiving service and Afternoon Tea on Sunday afternoon
Covenant Presbyterian Church 77 Rogers Road Manurewa 2.30 – 4.30pm
Sorry to those I haven’t invited personally, I wish I had the time for personal invitations. Please come and say goodbye, we would love to see you!!!

Lori Hollingsworth says:I know you’re planning on leaving Dec. 7th…..but when you said “Monday”….it seemed unreal. Oh my goodness!!! Had to take a double glance at the calendar. Will be praying for answers with the mysterious weight gain. And also for you to have an extra dose of strength and energy to get all you need done in the next few days. SO wish I was there to help you once you get to OMA!! I have MANY contacts there. PLEASE PLEASE tell me if there is ANYTHING you could use help with!! (they know you are coming….) Love y’all…and know you are in our prayers!

EVE GILKES says:What an amazing mixture of feelings and emotions must be going through you right now. Thank God, He is in control.
Weeks ago it seemed there was all the time in the world to get ready for this momentous trip, and now it is almost here …… where has the time gone.
God will be with you every step of the way, that is our assurance, our ‘blessed assurance’. You are constantly in my thoughts, and prayers I keep wondering what would I be doing, apart from panic stations, if I were in your shoes.
“May Gods blessing surround you each day.
As you trust Him and walk in His way.
May His presence within
guard and keep you from sin.
Go in peace, go in joy, go in love …”
With my love
Eve (England)
