The Call
Well we’ve decided to share with the group that we are waiting to hear whether Aria is getting transplanted tonight.
Earlier today we received word that Aria had been offered some organs. Since then we have proceeded as if it is going to happen tonight. TONIGHT!!!!
We haven’t heard a definite confirmation that the organs are the right ones but there is a operating theater booked and everything is in place as if it will happen tonight.
This is obviously huge news and could be a enormous moment in Aria’s and our lives. We are not getting over excited/stressed/nervous/rejoicing until we here one way or the other. We are VERY hopeful though that we will be getting Aria transplanted tonight.
Please pray that the organs would be suitable and that things go well.
Please pray for the team who will perform the procedure.
Please pray for the family who has suffered a terrible loss and the families before them.

I am holding my breath….this is the moment we who are following you have been waiting to hear……but it is so scary too. I pray for the family who have had the loss and I pray for Aria to receive this amazing gift…..and I also pray for you and hamish to receive strength for the next part of this amazing journey. Dear God, Our Heavenly Father,
I pray for the donor family, that you would comfort them! Hold them in your loving arms, because this wil be a difficult time for them! Lord, I pray that the organs that Aria might get will be good for her, & that she WILL get them! Lord I also pray that you will be with the doctors! Lord I pray that you would guide the doctors’ hands during the transplant, & be there to give them stamina, & strength during the entire operation! Lord I also pray for Anita & Hamish, that you would uphold them during this time, and give them peace of mind that you have everything in control! Lord I pray that the operation would go smoothly, that her new organs work work well for her, that Aria’s body won’t reject the new organs, & that Aria will come out with a new zest for life! omg how exciting, scary, nervous all rolled into one… here is hoping and praying that the organs are all ok, this is the bit i find the most nervous in the whole process the waiting, yes everything’s ready, but it still comes down to the surgeons when they open up the donor to retrieve the organs if they don’t like the look of them they can still refuse this them… I will hope and pray with everything that they are good organs, short ischemic time, and everything is well for transplant… I will continue to watch this site with anticipation

My heart is pounding, and I am praying that this is the right time for Aria. Thinking of the donor family and their wonderful gift in spite of their grief. I anxiously await your update and will be thinking of you throughout the next hours ahead.
I also ask Aria’s supporters to pray that Matisse will not have to wait too much longer also, for her gift of life.

I cannot begin to imagine the loss the donor family must be enduring! I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers in the weeks to come! I pray for your entire family as well that this might be the news you had hoped for for so long! I look forward to reading updates with positive news!

I felt an urgency to get out of bed and come check your website. I am now urgently praying that the organs will come thru tonight for little Aria. And my heart goes out to the donor family and their tremendous loss. May they find peace in knowing that their gift is the gift of life for another precious, little girl.
