How super cool is this?

Nothing much new to report on the Aria front. Â She is a bit more settled today thankfully. Â Yesterday she was having a hard time with the tube and just being unhappy about it. Â We tried sitting her up in bed and in her pram but boy did she fight it! Â She is strong thats for sure. Â She kept throwing her weight back and eventually would slide down. Â It was pretty distressing for her and us but in someways it was good to see her fight so much. Â They want her sitting up more but Aria is not a fan.

We have some interesting mail today. Â Nothing is more cool than getting mail from real people not bills and stuff.

Firstly we received some books from a TNN friend of mine who has a heart for Aria. Â One of the books was one we used to read Aria even night during the last stay at Starship. Â The book belonged to the hospital and we never got a chance to get to the shops to buy it. Â I had remembered it since being here and wished we had it because it would always put her to sleep. Â And now we have it along with other books we remembered from NZ.

Finally we got a letter from MOTAT. Â I know- how random! Â It was a letter saying that they had come across Aria’s website, I am assuming from google alerts from this post. Â Anyway the letter said that they felt for us and Aria’s tough journey and they would like to offer us a free one year family pass when we return to NZ!!!! Â How super cool is that??? Â We were so super touched that they would think of us being all the way over here. Â And of course Aria will have one or two appointments at Starship when she gets back 😉 so that will something fun to do after.

Anyway – still prayers needed very much. Â Thank you for your love and support.

Thanks Kylee, we get mail most days 🙂 Heaps of postcards and some letters and parcels. Aria is part of a postcard swap too so she gets postcards lots which she likes.

Aria is definately on the mend if she is being strong enough not to go in her pram!!! H ope the book does the trick for sleeping, may even help very sleep deprived parents.May you get many more wonderful surprises ie MOTAT
