Timeout for Aria

The last few days have been pretty rough for Aria. She has been pretty distressed and upset at times with her circumstances and the medications she has been on to keep her calm and relaxed have been losing some effectiveness. In response to this, a decision was made this morning to change her medication to one that would keep her nice and relaxed, let her body recover from the previous medicines and give her a chance to wake up refreshed once the course of treatment was complete.

Aria had other ideas.

Aria spent most of the day displaying her extraordinary will power to stave off the sleep that the doctors were trying to give her. She has finally succumbed to what will hopefully be a nice restful sleep.

It has been really hard seeing Aria appearing unhappy and agitated, as a parent you always want to see your children at peace. However when there is only so much you can do, it really breaks your heart.

Please pray that this little break in routine for Aria might have the desired effect and that we all can start a new day with refreshed minds and hearts.

Praying that you will all know deep restorative sleep. “Come to me all who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” says Jesus. And never loose sight of his great and tender love to carry His lambs in his arms. Is 40:11 and Is 46:3,4 …”I will carry you. I have made and I will bear; even I will carry and will deliver you”. He will not forsake you. Much love to you all

Am up in the night with 3 little vomiting girls and have been thinking of you and really feeling for you. What I have tonight is just a tiny fraction of what you guys have all the time. Praying for strength for you all to see these hard days through and an abundance of blessings in days to come.

Great to hear that Aria is getting gutsy and battling a few things as that is a sign of strength coming back to her. Doesn’t help that some of the body functions are not wanting to play ball at the same time but I am sure it will all click into place when Miss Aria is ready and everything aligns. Anita really happy to read in one of the other blogs that you have a sense of peacefulness. Appreciate the serenity you find when you can.

I have just been away on holiday in Queenstown and Wellington. Q’town was just stunning. Maybe thats a holiday you will have in years to come with the kids in Queenstown. But most probably Disneyland is first on your list!!! Kia kaha. Linda XXXX

Your strength and our strength is God’s as we pray with you guys for “Alia” here in little NZ. As it says in Psalm 138:3

“As soon as I pray, You answer me; You encourage me by giving me strength”

Love you guys as you are never too far away from our thoughts these days, and even closer through God’s awesome love. xoxoxoxo

I thank God for this little (BIG) fighter Aria, where does she get her strength from, praise God. I wish I had a quarter of her fighting spirit, that would satisfy me. She is one amazing little lady, as you are as a whole family. I stand back and admire you all, and pray for all that you need, God will provide.
    With love
    Eve

Aria has so much for her little life to cope with…. I, like you will be praying and hoping for peace for her… and for you guys. It is exhausting and sad watching your kids suffer…. but we cling to the one who watched His son suffer….knowing that He knows and cares and understands each tear that falls…. much love my friends.
