Some prayer points…
*****UPDATE******
Aria is still having some bumps with her 02 stats, heart rate and breathing rate but we have had some significant wins today.
Firstly ARIA HAS NO DRAINS!!!!  All of her abdominal drains have been removed today because there is no excess fluid in her abdominal cavity.  This is great news and her catheter that drains her urine should be removed tomorrow too.  She is losing tubes!  This is progress.
Just spoke to the surgeon and he is still keen to start feeds tomorrow providing no vomits overnight!
Her wound is look great, she is stitched up and there are staples holding the flesh together. Â In places the skin has healed and fused together! Â It looks nice and neat and not open like before.
Remember the surgeon said it would be a miracle if Aria didn’t go back to the OR at least once after transplant. Â Well we are day 11 and there hasn’t been one trip! Â Not one! Â The further out we get the more we can start waving the victory flag.
Aria managed some PT to today and the therapist was excited to see and feel that Aria is getting stronger every day and able to complete her exercises much better.
Just wanted to throw some prayer points up for all those who are the praying types and we know there are LOTS of you that are. If your not we would highly recommend it because it works!! Our God answers prayer.
We are a bit concerned about Aria still, the powers that be are not overly concerned but as parents we reserve the right to be a bit cautious and want things to be all good all the time.
Aria continues to have some breathing issues, her oxygen saturation is down to the mid 90’s which is not terrible but lower than we are accustomed to seeing it and comfortable for it to be. There is no clear reasoning for the low oxygen levels as this is not caused by the drug withdrawal that she is going through at the moment.
– Please pray for the team who works with Aria to find a cause for these issues and that a solution would become apparent and ‘fix’ things. Also that their communication would be clear, forthright and helpful.
– Pray for Aria during these withdrawal periods, that she comes through them quickly.
– Pray for her new organs that they would continue to grow and be accepted (another biopsy was taken today).
– Pray for us as parents, that we would know peace and trust amidst all the up and downs of the journey.
– Pray for Alex as she gets a crash course in living our life and finds ways to help us out (THANKS ALEX).
Anywho, we really appreciate you all who visit Aria’s site regularly and pray for our family, may God bless you all for your kindness and love for us.

Yvonne RRN says:Noticed yesterday that another follower has the same name so I’ve added a slight change to mine as that was not me who posted yesterday.
Again another update that has swelled my heart with joy. Only 11 days post op & all has been fwd progress with no OR returns & main drains out & wound healing so well already. Just truly amazing. So pleased that altho the first were not Aria’s organs to keep, but just to tide her over while she built up her body strength, so still a precious gift & it is sure proving itself this time round as you tick the days off.
Hoping the breathing & O2 issues are just a small pothole in the road as she continues her remarkable recovery. Hard to believe she is already at this point only 11 days P/Op, only Aria could defy the odds & achieve this. Praying for you all & that the next stages of feeding etc will go without any major blips.
Blessings to you all
