Slow and steady wins the race
Just a quick update to say that Aria has had slow and steady progress over the day. Â Her vent settings are down and she is managing them pretty well. Â They are still pretty high but better. Â Her pee is still steady, maybe picking up a bit when we left. Â Her stoma had a bit out of it which is good, but we don’t want to much out though.
To answer the question about her kidneys she has her two originals that she was born with and now two new ones. Â The first transplanted set were removed along with her first transplanted rejected bowel (which are safety in the hands of the funeral director for cremation)
Hamish and I are off to the movies tonight! Â The first time we have been on the movies in the US together!! Â There is a cinema across the road from our house so we don’t have to go far. Â One of the many perks of Aunty Alex being here.

Oh my goodness your story on tv back here in NZ absolutely blew me away. Its 11pm back here and I cant sleep for thinking of your little family, so brave over there. Watching Aria just made me want to jump through the tele and give her all the love I have to give. I am soooo going to give you guys money towards your journey and pray every day for you and I will be telling everyone I know if they can do the same. I dont know you guys but my heart is there with you. You are amazing and you have humbled me at a time I thought I was being tested in life. All my love and prayers , Kate (and my baby girl Mila).

hey guys, remember me from old st Andrews days. I have been following your story since it aired on tv, and reading your daily entries. It is so heart warming to see the two of you again, even if it is on tv. I hope and pray Aria continues to make continual progress, be it small but nonetheless important. i work in ICU/HDU at middlemore so all the stats you give Anita is awesome to follow. May Gods blessings continue to be upon you both. Keep the faith, with love Doreenxxx NZ
