Our life - Aria MacDonald

Our life

These two photos below kinda show Aria’s life in hospital I think.  One min she is lying down peaceful and happy and the next there are two people’s hands in her face.  She does really well though.

Asher standing still for a second so I could take a photo. He got dressed all by himself, including the shoes. Ok so his tshirt is on the wrong way but who cares? And today he spelt his name all by himself A S H E R

Our dinner tonight. It is sunday night and we didn’t feel like cooking. Check out this HUGE pizza- and this was a medium!!! No kidding. It was pretty good and we will be eating leftovers for weeks.

Just for interest sake- a picture of our apartment building. Or rather the second apartment building when standing on our deck. Check out the big truck!

  3. Lauren says:

Those big trucks are what my parents used to work with in NZ, lol. Amazing what people ‘need’ them for!

Aria is amazing, dealing with everything with the grace that she does.

  4. Angela (24b) says:

Wow, the photo with Aria’s beautiful smile shows (I think)that Aria is less jaundiced. Loving all these positives, and I’m sure she’ll kick psudamonas’ butt!! Love Angela.

Lovely to see some more photos of your life in usa! Aria’s eyes seem to have more of a sparkle in the third piccie – she’s getting back to being Aria – she is coping amazingly well with all the poking and prodding she has to put up with! I totally admire her as I’m sure I would have gone nuts with all that interference if it was me!

  7. Kathleen and Anita says:

Oh that was a nice visit to your corner of the world. Aren’t we spoilt with the technology our grandparents never even dreamt about! I mean cameras and internet that makes comunication so fast and brings you so close, so quickly! Thank you for your smiles Aria! Love you lots.

Great to see some photos of your life in the USA so far. Aria is looking great!! πŸ™‚

Hehe yeah i saw heaps of those ‘trucks’ when i was in Texas and Arizona.

And yes, their pizzas are HUGE! Makes our “Large” pizzas look pathetic and the size of a small one over there. Enjoy πŸ™‚

  18. Judy Palmer says:

Dear guys, love to you all. God is so good God is so good God is so good hes so good to you amen amen amen! Persisting in prayers and thanksgiving – thinking of all that our Papa has done for you and especially for Aria. Your journey is just like the way we had always pray together for the Redeemer church preschool, it had bumps here and there and now the preschool is here. The same I keep thinking of Aria and all the journey with her and because I am going to see beautiful miracle of having the goal of seeing her coming back to NZ to Redeemer with more than we expect, beautifully saved and healed by our Papa amen amen amen! Expect a miracle daily!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Raylene says:

Ohh!Well done Asher. You are a great young man! Lovely smile from Aria ! Hey – love to help you eat that Pizza. I look so forward to reading your updates. Thank you for your time updating your site. You are very special people and I feel privalidged to share your lives each day. Thank you.

  22. Raylene says:

    And I cant spell privaleged!!!!

  23. Erin says:

Your children are both so beautiful! May Aria have more peaceful, smiling moments and fewer moments with everyone’s hands in her face. And good luck with the American obsession with giant food portions and bigger vehicles. I was born here and I still find it overwhelming sometimes. πŸ™‚

  24. joyce says:

Love the new pics. Glad things are going smoothly just now. That big truck is the norm here in Texas.Asher looks so big and happy after dressing himself.Good to see that sweet smile from Aria. Still praying for all good things for all of you.

  25. Tiffany Keller says:

Aww…Aria looks great! πŸ™‚ I love the 3rd pic. of her! Kids can be so funny when trying to dress themselves. My nephew Benjamin tries to dress himself, & he’s always has something on wrong, lol. Good try Asher! Unfortunately, I think we Americans are starting to realize how huge our portions are here, & that’s why more health & wellness companies are teaching true portion sizes. We’re so used to huge portions here, & that’s why most of us are overweight here. You have the right idea, about eating a little bit at a time! I hope all is well, & God Bless!

  26. EVE GILKES says:

Thank you so much for the photographs. I feel very privileged that you have let us into your family, and that we are allowed to see what is happening, and what is going on with Aria.
God bless you all and keep you strong.
Thank God too for Asher who brings normal family life into your bigger picture.
    With love and prayers
    Eve
