Mid week
It has been a strange week in the Aria health department.  We have had some really really bad nights.  The headaches have become a big problem although today they were better and last night was a better night.  Also she has a cough which is pretty yukky but she is moving air well and actually sounds pretty good.
We had clinic today and I had a big list of things I felt needed to be addressed with Aria. Â Thankfully it went really well and we have some new meds and dropped another one so we are hoping for improvement. Â The current theory is that Aria’s headaches might be caused by high blood pressure. Â We are hoping they are right although she is on pretty high dose of BP lowing med. Â It has been explained, but for some reason that escapes me, kidney transplant recipients often have high BP.
Her liver numbers are trending down! Â Phew!
Overall Aria is happy as. Â Tonight she was yelling pbskid.org over and over. Â It was funny. Obviously her fave website!
Two names have been on our hearts this week. Â Matisse and Emerson. Â Constantly thinking and praying for them. Â Please God make Matisse’s transplant successful and please God heal Emerson. Â Please join us, our hearts are burdened for them and their families.

Sounds like things may be all working themselves out for Aria. Very frustrating for you all though but the end result is what matters really and I just know that all will be fine.God has been so good and he has a plan.Prayers keep going to him and he hears each one.Praying also for Matisse. She seems to be having a rough time also.May we all remember Jesus is the reason for the season.He is our greatest gift.

Yes Emerson has been in my heart today, as is Matisse. I wish all parents could celebrate Christmas with healthy, whole children but sadly I know too many now whose hearts need mending and they are all on my mind at this time. Hoping Aria’s headaches mend soon too. Hugs

Praying with you all, giving thanks to our heavenly Father for all His goodness to us. Christmas is here and we thank him for giving us His gift of His dear Son our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. On this his birthday we thank him for exchanging our curses for his blessings, our illnesses with health, our strife with his peace, our weaknesses with his strength, our doubts with his faith, our sadness with his awesome joy. Our gift from him this christmas is Aria, Matisse and Emerson and many many more of our loved ones who have been healed. We praise Him this christmas time for complete healing for all of you in USA and for us here in Aotearoa. It was wonderful seeing Aria about a week or so ago at Asher’s child care! My how she’s grown since May! I should have one or more pics to share with you from the party at the daycare earlier today if you like. I had one taken especially of the two of them, unfortunately I might be in the background, too. Asher and Julius had punch and cookies together! Asher counted his cookies for me, he is so smart and sweet!
