1st Transplantaversary
Today marks the day of Aria’s 1st anniversary of her 1st transplant. Â Not to many emotions really, the only thing I am really thinking about is her donor family. Â Who they are and what they are doing. Â Grieving still obviously. Â Heartbroken forever. Â Please spare a prayer for this family, God knows who they are and what their hearts are feeling today. Â Hopefully a tiny sense of peace that their child was able to save another.
Aria was readmitted yesterday.  Her dumping is still really high and her kidney numbers (hydration) were totally off.  So hoping to get her back on track and discharged again.  Currently working theory is that her steroids make her immune system less active AND her FK/prograf/tac/immune surpression drug levels are CRAZY high.  Meaning her immune system is fairly wiped out and the virus she is battling in her gut has made a comeback.  It some ways it is a tiny relief because it means this is still the virus and not anything more like rejection.
Aria is pretty happy today although does have a case of the jitters because of the FK level. Â She isn’t keen to stand cause her legs are all shaky.
Sorry for those who get the subscription emails.  I wrote this awesome post and then manage to delete a chunk of it when mucking around with the photos.  Defeated I changed it from published to draft but the subs program must of sent it anyway.

Happy 1st transplant anniversary. This was your stepping stone and caused you much happiness then much grief but it kept Aria going until she received her second gift. My thoughts are with the donor family, their first anniversary too and it must be heartbreaking. Love you guys x

Heh heh I was real curious abt where ‘Perspective’ was..I was balming my pc!!!! Kept going back all night to see if it had popped in!!! Now I know & thanks for telling us as dnt want to miss anything!!!

Thank you Lord Jesus for continued healing in Aria’s bowel and kidneys and pray for miracle immunity restored thank you Papa, praise your Holy Name amen praying also for the transplant donors’ loved ones please heal their lives and set them free to worship you our Papa bless them for all their love, amen, amen

Wow! I can’t believe it’s been a year already since her 1st transplant! I’m praying the donor family will feel God’s peace & comfort today! Praying Aria’s immune system will improve, & that all the high dumping will stop & go to regular flow. God Bless!

Happy 1st Transplantaversary 🙂 Said a special prayer for the donor family today .. may they feel God’s peace and comfort knowing that, through their loss, they managed to save another precious childs’ life. I know you’re crazy busy with everything going on, but wanted to let you know of another website for those affected by HD…

Great resources, great email list where many get / give advice and support. Its awesome because everyone on the list has some experience in dealing with HD (either a loved one, or themselves directly!). If interested and if you haven’t already, perhaps Aria might be connected (electronically) to another child with HD who might be close in age to herself?
I hope that when he is a bit bigger, our Josh will get to know some other kids affected by HD (as he is) just so that he benefits from their understanding of his condition and all his care requirements!! 🙂
