Some days this can only be your only comfort.  Yesterday was one of those days.  I witnessed what I think was Aria’s most traumatic and difficult procedure ever, which was ultimately unsuccessful.   To painful to go into details and I don’t wish to speak negatively of the hospital that saved her life.  Needless to say there has been a steady stream of listening ears and apologies this morning thru Aria’s room and the matter will be taken further.
My daughter is amazing and brave and to watch her suffer is horrible. Â I just want to pay tribute today to how amazing she is and how amazing it is to be her parents!
She is doing pretty well for someone who has yeast in their blood and an infected line! Â No temps overnight and her blood pressure was good and she was stable. Â We did have to pop the oxygen on her at one point though.
Aria went down to have an extensive scope and to finally have that nasty line removed.  She was put to sleep for this.  They are checking her stomach and intestines top and bottom for Graft V Host, rejection, inflammation and the presence of a virus.  Which one do we want?  We will don’t want rejection that is for sure or G V H.  We would still like to blame her high outputs on this Norwalk.
So we wait until tomorrow to get results and pray pray pray that this precious bowel is ok and will make a full recovery.

Be comforted in the fact that even in the times where you are not able to cry out to God, He still knows and He still answers the cry and agony of your heart. And we most definitely are praying for you! Praying for the safety of Aria’s precious gift, praying for healing of all your hearts at this latest incident, praying for Aria to remain strong emotionally and physically. Praying her health improves so you can come home soon. xxxx We love you all!!

Hurting for you. However good the hospital is, it sounds like they got this wrong. May God guide them in the work they do, and Lord, may Aria not remember the trauma of yesterday. All our love to you Anita.

I love that song by Aaron Shust! It’s true that we don’t always understand God’s plans, and it can be very hard to Trust Him when we don’t have control over anything, but it’s so worth it! I’m praying that it is just the Norwalk virus tha has been giving her trouble, that God will give you comfort and peace through of this! God Bless!
