Lifted up
Yesterday Aria had her first proper bath since transplant.  Actually it was her first proper bath since being the US!  How strange.  For those of you who saw the last TV show from Attitude you would  see that we sat Aria on a plastic seat in the bath and kinda washed her down.
Bathtime for Aria had turned into yelling and crying stressful events. Â Not sure why, she just hated then. Â So we decided to try something different so we cleaned the bath and cleaned it again and filled it up and popped in her (after much convincing and bath toy gathering). Â She had a great time!! Â No tears or drama! Â What a relief!! Â Of course it would of be much nicer if she didn’t have a central line, we made do and protected it as best we could.
Speaking of lines, Aria is going to the OR at 6am for a new central line tomorrow. Â Yikes! Â So early! Â Please pray this goes smoothly
In other amazing news, for the first in months we have been able to advance her feeds past 30mls. Â WOW. Â Her outputs are finally finally trending down. Â Tonight we will go up to 60 mls an hour, goal being 80. Â So close to being on full feeds. Â The relief is massive I tell you. Â These past months have been really trying and a HUGE test of faith and trust in God.
Aria’s night are still pretty hit and miss. Â We had a bad couple of nights, hence why this blog has been a bit quiet. Â Last night was better though.
Bathtime & feeds & a new central line & sleeping. Â Interesting topics. Â So much different to the topics we were thinking of last year. Â Ventilators & transplant viability & superbugs & life & death top of the list.
Our friend Emerson is struggling right now. Â She will overcome, of course. Â Those who know Emerson know that this always happens someway somehow. Â But this little lady is having a very hard time right now. Â Her mum has big topics on her mind too and that, in my experience, is a super hard place to be in. Â Please lift them up high in your prayers.

I will be praying for the early morning rise, & central line thing (no sure if it’s surgery or not…is it?). So glad to hear that her outputs are finally improving! That’s great!

Yah for the awesome reports you have shared today xxx Aria will only go from strength to strength and as summer comes you length of time out of hospital is bound to improve. Will Pray for your morning op. for increased feeds and sleeptime and also for Emmerson. I love knowing that you guys know our wonderful saviour, its hard breaking to see others go through these journeys without Him. God Bless.

Such wonderful news on Aria. Praying for more good days ahead and that replacing line goes well. I bet the bath was such a good feeling to Aria. Praying also for Emerson and family. God is so Good.
