Much better thanks!
Aria is on the improve! Â Yay! Â We are very relieved about that.
Her WBC is down to 24 just like the surgeon said it would- I love it when they are right! Â All her labs are improving which is good and her pee picked up again although it isn’t ‘rock star’. Â She didn’t need any extra sedation overnight either which we were pleased to hear. Â Feeds are up to 15mls per hour.
AND there were smilies and dancing- haven’t seen that for a long time.  Asher came to visit her after preschool today.  We held him over the bed so he could give her kisses.  He gave her three big ones on her cheeks and nose and she thought it was awesome. Big big smilies from her.  So cute also that Asher is still affectionate and loving towards her every though they haven’t lived together for months.  Last week he was standing next to her and lent over and hugged her even though she was paralyzed.  He is super sweet and a very important part of her healing.
Aunty stayed the afternoon with Aria and said Aria did some dancing and also gave out lots of smilies.
We got a taste of Nebraskan weather today with storms and a tornado warning in surrounding counties. Â It went pitch black at about 5.30ish and then green. Â Very odd cause it is normally still light at 8 pm being summer and all.
Anyway – thanks for your prayers! Â They work- God hears 🙂

Bronwyn says:So pleased to read all this. Your little boy is delightful – and yes, for you ALL – a part of the healing process. About Aria’s birthday – you realise she can have 2 days – since you celebrate it in different time
zones? 🙂 And yes, she will be able to celebrate on whatever date/s you choose to do so…. the actual day will not mean much to her, as you say – but the celebrating will 🙂 Keep trusting and holding on to the special moments… may there be many more ahead for you all. God bless xo

Yvonne RRN says:Awesome news, one day at a time.
From 5 to 15mls already is such good progress especially as the peristalsis & motility have to learn how to perform & function in it role, this is super progress. Beats TPN which will soon be redundant!
Great too that the kidneys are coming out of their sulk, & getting on with the job again. so until they kick back in & get that fluid off I spose they are holding back the clamping trials.
Go Asher you can beat any man made meds to help your big sis recover. What a super duper bro & sis you are. A smile from Aria speaks a million words. So sweet.
Blessings to you all, onwards & upwards
